About Lullabye
Lullabye is a nonprofit initiative launched in 2025 to help address the growing mental health crisis in the United States. As rates of anxiety, depression, loneliness, and suicidal ideation continue to rise, especially among young adults and impoverished communities, the need for accessible, stigma-free support has never been greater.
Lullabye was created to provide a simple and anonymous way for individuals to check in on their mental health using the power of artificial intelligence. Our mission is not to replace therapy or professional care, but to bridge the gap for those who may not know where to begin, can't afford treatment, or feel overwhelmed by the mental health system.
Through a friendly AI assistant named Avery, users can talk openly about how they're feeling, receive gentle feedback and emotional validation. Then, when appropriate, they can be directed to trusted resources, including crisis hotlines, peer support, and directories for affordable care.
We believe that technology should be part of the solution, especially when thoughtfully designed to promote empathy and privacy. All check-ins on Lullabye are anonymous and no personal data is stored. Our goal is to empower users to reflect on their feelings, track their emotional state, and discover safe next steps - without judgment or surveillance.
By combining open-source tools, ethical AI, and a commitment to accessibility, we hope to reach those who are falling through the cracks - and help build a future where mental health support is as universal and compassionate as it is vital.
